Geocities Advanced HTML Editor
Here is how to place the WebRing on a page at Geocities using there Advanced HTML Editor only.
1. Open the page you want to add the WebRing to in the Advanced HTML Editor.
2. Scroll down the HTML and Text Block till you find the place where you want the WebRing to appear.
3. Place your cursor where you want to place the ring code and hit enter a couple of times to open a place for the code.
Usually the bottom of the page is a good place.
4. Now leave the window sit there and go to the
email you received when you submitted your site to the
WebRing. You will find the code for your the WebRing in it. Copy the whole code starting
with
<!--START OF ______ WEBRING CODE--> all the way thru
<!--END OF ______ WEBRING CODE--> .

5. Now go back to the advanced editor and you should see your cursor in the HTML or Text Block Box where you left it. If the cursor is not there place your cursor in the box where you want the ring graphics to appear.
6. Now paste the Ring Code in the box. once you have it inserted in the box scroll down to the bottom of the page.
7. Now click on the save button and save the page with the Ring Code on it.
That should be it. You can preview the page and the image should show up and all the links should be working. If you have a problem with this please contact: BroAndy@christring.org
