1. The Go.com editor has the ability to add a WebRing using our HTML cut and paste code. Unfortunately though, this editor does not understand that in HTML, the <!-- symbols mean that the text is supposed to be "commented" out, and should not appear on the page. Therefore if you simply cut and paste the code, you will get the WebRing graphics and links, but some additional text will also appear on your page.

2. The page should actually only contain the webRing graphic and links.

3. In the Go.com editor, the area that allows you to add text to a page also allows for HTML to be added to the page.

4. Open the page you want the WebRing Graphics to apper on in Go.com Editor.

5. Now SCROLL DOWN to the Body area till you find where you want to place the Ring Code.
**Usually near the bottom of the page is a good place.

6. Now leave the window sit there and go to the email you received when you submitted your site to the WebRing. You will find the code for your the WebRing in it. Copy the whole code starting at the end of:

<!--END OF ______ WEBRING CODE--> . <Start Here and copy everything up to>

Due to the editor’s inability to understand that "commented out" text should not be displayed, you must REMOVE the two lines of the code which are preceded by <!-- and followed by --> Which are:

<!--END OF ______ WEBRING CODE--> .

7. Now go back to Go.com editor and you should see your cursor in the HTML Box where you left it. If the cursor is not there place your cursor in the box where you want the ring graphics to appear.

8. Now paste the Ring Code in the box. Once you have it inserted in the box PREVIEW and SAVE your page.
