Homestead Site Builder
Here is how to place the WebRing on a page at Homestead using there Site Builder only.
1. Using Homestead site builder open the page you want to put the WebRing graphics on.
2. After the page loads in Site Builder scroll down the page till you find where you want the ring to appear.
Around the bottom of the page is usually a good place.
3. Make room for the ring graphics by moving the items on the page. Then click on the page where you want the ring graphics to appear.
4. Once you have clicked where you want the graphics to appear, go to the top of the Site Builder Window and click on ELEMENT. Then in the drop down menu put your mouse over ADD ELEMENT. Then under the new drop down menu place the mouse over IMPORT FILES & HTML. Then click on HTML SNIPPET.
5. That will bring up the HTML SNIPPET Window. In the HTML snippet window under size make the width 468 make the height 60 Make the ID the name of the WebRing you are adding to your page.
6. Then in the HTML Snippet window click on EDIT. This will bring up an other window where you can place the WebRing Code you want to add.
7. Your cursor should already be in the box, if it is not click
in the box to place it there. Then leave the window sit there and go to the email you
received when you submitted your site to the WebRing. You
will find the code for your the WebRing in it. Copy the whole code starting with
<!--START OF ______ WEBRING CODE--> all the way thru
<!--END OF ______ WEBRING CODE--> .

8. Once you have copied the code go back to the box where you want to place the WebRing Code in and look to make sure the cursor is still in the box. Then place you mouse beside it. Using your Keyboard type CTRL V . This should place the HTML Code in the box.
9. Once you have the HTML Code in the box in the HTML SNIPPET Window click OK
Remember you will not see the WebRing image at this point only the html box.
10. If you want to move the WebRing image to center it ect. click on the box and holding the left mouse button down move it to where you want it.
11. Once you have it where you want it SAVE THE PAGE!
That should be it. You can preview the page and the image should show up and all the links should be working. If you have a problem with this please contact BroAndy@christring.org.
