TalkCity Page Builder
Here is how to place the WebRing on a page at TalkCity using there page builder tools only.
1. Go to the Talk City homepage at http://home.talkcity.com. Click on the "Creation Tools menu" link in the left menu..
2. In the Talk City Home Page Creation Tools Menu
section, click on the "Edit your home page" option.
Enter in your nickname and password.
3. Place your cursor where you want to place the
ring code and hit enter a couple of times to open a place for the code.Select your
homepage file (most likely called index.html) and then press the Edit as HTML button.
** This will PERMANENTLY convert your file to an HTML
format. From this point on, you will only be able to edit the file in an HTML editor. **
4. This will open the page in a HTML editor.
Scroll down the HTML Editor window till you find a place in the HTML where you want to
place the ring code. Place your cursor there and hit enter a couple of time to make room
for the HTML Code.
5. Now leave the window sit there and go to the
email you received when you submitted your site to the WebRing. You will find the code for
your the WebRing in it. Copy the whole code starting with
<!--START OF ______ WEBRING CODE--> all the way thru
<!--END OF ______ WEBRING CODE--> .

6. Now go back to the TalkCity HTML Editor and you should see your cursor in the HTML Box where you left it. If the cursor is not there place your cursor in the box where you want the ring graphics to appear.
7. Now paste the Ring Code in the box. Once you have it inserted in the box scroll down to the bottom of the page.
8. Now click on the save button and save the page with the Ring Code on it.
That should be it. You can preview the page and the image should show up and all the links should be working. If you have a problem with this please contact: BroAndy@christring.org
