Tripod Site Builder
Basic
Here is how to place the WebRing on a page at Tripod using there Page Builder. You must edit the page using the FreeForm editor in order to paste the WebRing code.
1. After signing into Tripod go to File Manager.
2. Place a check in the box in front of the page you
want the WebRing Graphics to appear on. Then click the Edit Button.
If asked "This page was created in Tripod Site Builder . You can edit it in one of
two ways." Make sure the

Is checked.
3. After the page opens in site builder, Click on the "Add Text
" button in the
bottom bar. That will open the page in a window where you can choose where you want
to add text to the page at.
4. Scroll down the Page till you find the place where you want the WebRing
to appear. Now click on the "Add it here
" Button.
Usually the bottom of the page is a good place.
5. That will open the Add Text window. Click on the "Edit HTML
"
button. You should now see a "<DIV></DIV>" in the text
box. Delete it.
6. Now leave the window sit there and go to the
email you received when you submitted your site to the WebRing. You will find the code for
your the WebRing in it. Copy the whole code starting with
<!--START OF ______ WEBRING CODE--> all the way thru
<!--END OF ______ WEBRING CODE--> .

7. Now go back to Tripod's Site Builder and you should see your cursor in the Text Block Box where you left it. If the cursor is not there place your cursor in the box where you want the ring graphics to appear.
8. Now paste the Ring Code in the box.
9. Now click on the "Done
" button to the right
of the Text Box.
10. When the page reloads in Site Builder you should be able to scroll down the page and see the CWR Graphic and link.
11. Now if you see it ok click on "Publish to Web
" Button in the bottom bar.
That should be it. You can view the page and the image should show up and all the links should be working. If you have a problem with this please contact: BroAndy@christring.org
