Jesus Cares for You
Isaiah 53 16
Life is hard Jesus knows that. He is Gods Son and he left heaven to rescue you. As a man He endured all the hardships common to humanity. Although He never sinned, He endured pain, loneliness, rejection and death. At the end of His ministry, he offered Himself as a sacrifice and died on the cross to atone, once and for all, for the sins of humanity. God raised Him from the grave and Jesus now reigns in heaven. He is alive. And he cares for you.
Being God, He knows your thoughts and your circumstances and can rescue you. Being man, He understands what you are going through. He loves you. He wants you to know that He gave His life for you. He wants a relationship with you, but He will not force you to open your heart. This is an invitation. Jesus says: (Revelation 3:20 NIV) Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.
Jesus offers you peace:
(John 14:27 NIV) Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
Jesus offers you rest:
(Matthew 11:28 NIV) "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
(Matthew 11:29 NIV) Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
Jesus offers you forgiveness:
He has a solution for your guilt and failures. Being God, He has the power and authority to forgive your sins and give you new life. By His death on the cross for you, He makes it possible for you to be forgiven and healed.
Isaiah writes about Jesus: (Isaiah 53:3 NIV) He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering. Like one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
Jesus comes to you : Open your heart Jesus cares for you : Give Him your life Jesus forgives you : Confess your sins Jesus loves you : Believe and pray
