He will get you there!

David looked down 1500 years into his future and wrote....

Psalms 107:23-32   They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters;  These see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep.  For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof.  They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble.  They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wits' end. Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.  He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.  Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.  Oh that [men] would praise the LORD [for] his goodness, and [for] his wonderful works to the children of men!   Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders.

He wrote about a man like he had never seen. Had never heard of. And he must have marvelled at the thoughts his God was putting in his head.

In the book of Luke, the physician/apostle wrote of it as it happened...

Luke 8:22-25  Now it came to pass on a certain day, that he went into a ship with his disciples: and he said unto them, Let us go over unto the other side of the lake. And they launched forth.  But as they sailed he fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled [with water], and were in jeopardy.  And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm. And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him.

The Lord may set us on the path he wants us to follow....
It may be VERY CLEAR in the beginning....

And as we go that way, things begin to happen....
People get in the way.... Circumstances get in the way...
Money gets in the way.... The devil gets in the way....

And we begin to falter and fear!
Where is the Lord when I need Him? Is He asleep again?
Has He abandoned me? Can't He see the raging waters?

But He has said to GO there.!.

Those were His instructions! "Go to the other side!"

And "just in time" the Master of the sea stretched His calming hand toward the threat and said "Peace, Be Still!!"

And verse 20 says, "And they arrived at the country of the Gadarenes, which is over against Galilee."

God will ALWAYS see you through to where He has sent you!
