Greetings in the Name of Jesus!

This months Cyber-Church sermon is again by Pastor Jim West. Pastor Jim was the founder of Cyber-Church.com. At the time of his homegoing in January 2000 Pastor Jim had a  number of messages   waiting for publication. Therefore, in accordance with the Lord's leading, we are posting them over the next few months. Pastor Jim's  messages are for the most part in outline form. We will post them as he left them and trust the Holy Spirit to fill in any gaps. We pray you too will be blessed by the teachings of this Godly Saint that is now with the Lord.

PEACE

Proverbs 14:12 (Solomon) - There is a way that seemeth right unto man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Habakkuk 1:5 - Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wondermarvelously: for I will work a work in your days, which ye will not believe, though it be told you.

Acts 13:40-41 (Paul) - Beware, therefore, lest that come upon you, which is spoken of in the Prophets; "Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you."

Jesus came doing many mighty signs and wonders:

• He calmed the sea.
• He healed the sick.
• He delivered the captives.
• He came to bring Light, but John wrote that "the Light shines in the darkness but the darkness rejects it!"

Jesus said,

Luke 4:18 - The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He hath anointed Me to preach the Gospel to the poor; He hath sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

And the poor have rejected Him!

Millions in Africa, India and even here in the United States are poor just BECAUSE they have rejected Him!

God has made a way for His people! A way of life, a lifestyle, that leads to prosperity! His people never have to beg bread!
And the brokenhearted have rejected Him!

Husbands have deserted wives, wives have left their homes and spent endless hours in loneliness and despair because they have rejected God in their lives!

Children and parents fight and even kill each other because they don't have the peace of God between them!

It is not because either of them are "bad", but because they have rejected God! They did not use HIM as a base on which to build!

And the captives have rejected Him!

People are captives to alcohol, drugs, sex, because they have rejected Jesus Christ! We are slaves to habit, slaves to hate, slaves to jealousy, slaves to violence, because we WILL NOT live for God! And the blind have rejected Him! If we could really SEE, we WOULD NOT reject Jesus Christ!

We cannot see the Grace of God!
We cannot see the Love of God!
We cannot see the Forgiveness of God! And His mercy!

And our blindness builds on itself. It seem that the more light we have the blinder we get! And in our blindness, we take those we love into blindness with us.

And the bruised have rejected Him!

Satan goes about this world seeking those whom he may devour. He comes to kill and destroy. He will bruise and crush you before you can come to God! Every corner of satan is hard as steel and sharp as a razor! You CANNOT touch him without getting bruised! All of his children are ragged and bloody. His family lives in spiritual decay and poverty

But THIS is the acceptable year of the Lord, NOW is the appointed time! This is the message we must preach - must spread, but those who live in darkness and LIKE to live in darkness, are rejecting it in greater numbers all the time!

And God will go just SO FAR with man. He has appointed the time - and the way - and mankind is walking on thin ice before God. Because the end time is getting closer and closer - and God has said,

Romans 1:28 (Paul) - And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Jesus is saying, "It is appointed unto man once to die, and after that, the judgement."
